Just one locomotive, a V36
Three wagons
A Bischoff Polytrac is used for loading
The diorama bears little relation to reality but the main structure is a copy of the buildings that were still extant in the '80s, it has been available from Vollmer for some time.
Other buildings are chosen for their useful or practical rather than attractive, simple utilitarian buildings. This will function as the site workshop, the two doors open to reveal a workspace.
The trackplan is a modified timesaver, not prototypical but a potentional for operation.
Many years ago we visited the limestone works at Rupprechtstegen near Hersbruck because I saw a picture in a Bufe book of a Deutz werklok captured by Gottfried Turnwald in '64. The locomotive had of course gone but the large building remained, albeit neglected.
Once the works was connected by a long siding from the station yard at Rupprechtstegen.
The works buildings replaced brickwork kilns built in the 19th century, they were fed from the large quarry to the east by a narrow gauge line that crossed the mainline from Hersbruck.
Maybe a small working diorama could be built around the Vollmer kit 45725 but it is difficult to find information about the location.
